Police seize cannabis worth more than €286,000 from house in Dublin

Police have seized cannabis worth more than €286,000 during a raid on a house in Dublin.

Officers tweeted at 10.36pm today (Sunday) that a team from a drugs unit based at Coolock, to the north-east of the city, had carried out the operation.

It said: "Gardai from the Divisional Drugs Unit at Coolock seized cannabis worth in excess of €286k during a house search in the Dublin 13 area this evening.

"The search was carried out as part of #OperationTara & investigations targeting the sale & supply of drugs and related crime."
