Police seize £250K worth of suspected cocaine

Police have seized £250K worth of suspected cocaine during an investigation into organised crime.

Detectives from the PSNI Organised Crime Branch searched a property on Sunday, January 10, which led to the seizure of the suspected drugs which are believed to be worth approximately £250,000.

Police say that this is part of an ongoing investigation and they will be "relentless" in their pursuit of those involved in criminality.

A PSNI spokesperson said: "Following the search of a property by police on Sunday 10 th January 2021, Detectives from the Organised Crime Branch have conducted further enquiries. During the course of these enquiries, approximately £250,000 of suspected cocaine has been recovered.

"This remains an ongoing investigation but illustrates the PSNI’s relentless pursuit of those engaged in such criminality and would encourage anybody with information to contact police via 101.
