Three people have been arrested after police seized a cannabis haul worth £130,000 from a car in Dumfries.
Officers stopped a vehicle on the M74 on Wednesday afternoon near Johnstonebridge.
Herbal cannabis with an estimated value of £130,000 was found inside.
A 52-year-old woman and two men, aged 38 and 18, were arrested in connection with this incident which occurred around 3.30pm.
Detective Inspector Dean Little from Dumfries CID said: “This is a significant amount of illegal drugs that have been removed from circulation and can no longer cause harm.
