Police seek witnesses to Kambah crash

Anyone driving in Kambah on Monday afternoon who witnessed a crash at the intersection of Drakeford Drive and Sulwood Drive has been asked to speak with police.

ACT Policing is seeking information from witnesses and dash-cam footage of a collision which occurred at about 2.50pm.

The driver of a white Mazda 3 is alleged to have collided with a silver Toyota Hilux before leaving the scene.

Police said the driver then failed to stop following a short pursuit.

The person involved was later arrested in Waramanga and the vehicle was recovered in Weston, police said.

ACT Policing is seeking dash-cam footage or witnesses to the incident on the intersection of Drakeford Drive and Sulwood Drive, or of the Mazda 3 driving erratically before and after the collision.

Anyone with information that can assist police is urged to contact Crime Stoppers on 1800 333 000, or via the Crime Stoppers ACT website and quote reference 6818220.
