ACT Policing is calling for witnesses and information regarding a reported assault at the Hawker Shops car park on Sunday evening.
Police said they believed the male offender punched and tackled another man in the car park at Hawker Place about 6.10pm.
The victim yelled out for help and members of the public stopped to assist after the assault, police said.
