People are searching for a group wanted in two recent robberies in Rogers Park, including one that left an elderly man stabbed several times.

The 75-year-old man was confronted by three males about 5:40 p.m. Sunday as he walked in the 1700 block of West Farwell Avenue, Chicago police said.

The trio demanded money but the man, who didn’t speak English, continued walking, police said. One of them then stabbed him several times.

On Tuesday, the group approached another man, 51, walking about 2:40 a.m. in the 7000 block of North Clark Street, police said.

Implying they had a knife, the group took off with his money, cellphone and jewelry, police said.

Police asked anyone with information to call Area Three detectives at (312) 744-8263.
