Police are looking for three suspects in a strong-arm robbery last week in the Kenwood neighborhood on the South Side.

Three suspects approached a 31-year-old man and asked to use his cellphone about 7 p.m. March 7 in the 4900 block of South Kimbark, according to Chicago police. The man kept walking and one of the robbers tackled him.

The victim threw his phone over a fence as they went through his pockets, police said. They grabbed his phone and ran away west on 50th Street. The victim was not injured.

The suspects were described as three men between 18 and 22 years old, and between 5-foot-10 and 6 feet tall, according to police.

Investigators released surveillance photos of the suspects and are asking anyone with information to call Area Central detectives at (312) 747-8380.
