Residents are being asked to help identify people who were involved in a mass fight in Ilkeston.

Trouble broke out at around 6pm on Saturday, July 24 on South Street, near the Latch Lifter pub, according to police.

When police officers arrived, several people ran onto Albert Street and Moss Road away from the scene.

Seven police officers and PCSOs were seen searching the area and running down Derby Road in search for those involved in the fight.

A spokesperson for Derbyshire Police said: "We were called to a fight involving a number of people.

"We would like to hear from anyone with information to further our enquiries."
