Police seek public help after woman indecently assaulted at Buff Point

POLICE investigating reports of an indecent assault on a Buff Point track are seeking public help.

Investigators have been told two women were walking along a track about 10am on Tuesday when an unknown man exposed himself.

When one woman ran to alert police, police said they understand the other woman was indecently assaulted before the man fled towards Budgewoi.

The man is described as between 185cm and 190cm tall and aged in his late teens to early 20s, with a slim build and a chipped tooth.

He was wearing black pants, a black long sleeve top, black beanie and black shoes.

Detectives hope to speak to anyone who saw anything suspicious at the time.
