ACT Policing is seeking public assistance following alleged fraudulent transactions and theft of a motor vehicle.
On Friday, November 20 November, it is alleged a man stole a number of items including a bank card from a white Holden Astra at the Red Hill summit car park.
The offender allegedly smashed the car's window before stealing a bag containing a wallet and keys.
Police said the alleged offender was later captured on CCTV completing a number of fraudulent transactions using a stolen bank card at two petrol stations and a supermarket around 6.30pm the same day.
The transactions allegedly amounted to more than $500.
It is alleged the man was driving a stolen silver Subaru Liberty bearing ACT registration YOL41P.
Police have followed a number of avenues of enquiry but are yet to confirm the identity of the man.
