Missing Macquarie Hills man found safe and well

A missing Macquarie Hills man was located safe and well on Wednesday afternoon, following a police appeal for public assistance to help find him.

About 2pm, a member of the public located the man at Merewether Beach after seeing the public appeal in relation to his whereabouts.

Police would like to thank the public for their assistance in this matter and ongoing collaboration, which helped to find the missing Lake Macquarie man.
