Police seek person of interest in case of Walt Harris’ missing stepdaughter

There’s a potential break in the case of UFC heavyweight Walt Harris’ missing stepdaughter, and the Auburn (Ala.) police department is asking for the public’s help in identifying a person of interest.

Aniah Blanchard, Harris’ 19-year-old stepdaughter, has been missing since Oct. 24. She was last seen at a Chevron gas station on the night of Oct. 23.

According to Alabama CBS affiliate WRBL, police have released surveillance footage from the same store around the time Blanchard was last seen. The footage is of a black man in his 20s, believed to be between 5-foot-8 and 5-foot-10 and approximately 200 pounds. He was described as leaving the area in a Lincoln Town Car which appeared silver or gray.

Police believe foul play may be involved in Blanchard’s disappearance.

Harris, who was scheduled to fight Alistair Overeem at UFCDC on Dec. 7, withdrew from the bout and has received an outpouring of support from the MMA community.

According to WRBL, various rewards for info on Blanchard’s disappearance have topped $105,000.
