Police have released images of a man they wish to speak to following an assault at a nightclub in Edinburgh.
Officers are investigating an attack on a 30-year-old man at Garibaldi's on Hanover Street on in the early hours of Saturday, January 4, 2020.
They say it took place around 2.25am inside the New Town nightclub. The man shown in the pictures may be able to help with the investigation.
PC Andy Lambert of Gayfield CID said: "As part of the ongoing investigation we are eager to speak to the man pictured and would urge anyone who recognises him, or who may have information which can help, to get in touch."
He is his early twenties, around 5ft 10in tall with brown hair which was longer on the top and shorter at the sides. He is seen in the image wearing a black coat and may have been wearing a light grey or blue top.
Anyone with information can contact Police Scotland via 101, quoting incident number 0424 of 4 January, 2020.
