ACT Policing is seeking witnesses and footage after a pedestrian was struck by a vehicle in Greenway.

The incident occurred at Anketell Street at 10.20am on Monday.

The pedestrian was assessed by ACT Ambulance at the scene and was later transported to hospital for non-life threatening injuries.

Anketell Street was briefly closed but reopened to the public about 11.45am.

Detective acting superintendent Marcus Boorman reminded Canberrans that even low-speed crashes could be devastating.

"Even in low-speed areas, you need to pay attention to what you're doing as you are responsible for your own safety, and that of other road users," he said.

It's been a busy day on the roads, with ACT Policing also responding to a serious two-vehicle collision in Hawker that left a man and a woman with critical injuries.

Anyone who witnessed or has dash-cam footage of the Greenway collision is urged to contact Crime Stoppers on 1800 333 000 or report on their website, quoting reference number 6645748. Information can be provided anonymously.
