Police seek extradition over fatal shooting at sex worker's apartment

NSW Police are seeking the extradition of a man wanted over the brutal murder of father of four George Nassif, who was shot inside an apartment in western Sydney last month.

Mr Nassif was shot in front of his girlfriend shortly after the couple visited a sex worker who rented a Warwick Farm apartment.

Yesterday Marko Krivosic, 27, was arrested when police swooped on a Perth motel after he had been on the run for the past two weeks.

Police believe the shooting could have been a set up after revealing the two men were buzzed into the complex just before sunset.

Mr Nassif, 46, was taken in an ambulance to Liverpool Hospital, but died from critical injuries.

An arrest warrant was issued for Mr Krisovic after CCTV vision showed him fleeing the building in a hooded jumper shortly after a gunshot was fired.

Dozens of police officers conducted line searches two blocks away after neighbours revealed one of the men knocked on their doors, offering money to hide inside their homes.

Detectives located a hand gun in a garbage bin only a few hundred metres away from where the shooting took place.

Police are investigating alleged links to the Comanchero outlaw motorcycle gang, but expect to charge Mr Krisovic with murder once he is extradited from Western Australia.
