Police seek driver involved in Forest Fields altercation

Police have asked for the public's help to track a driver who may have been threatened during a row. Officers were called to Stanley Road at the junction of Berridge Road, Forest Fields, shortly before 3.40pm, on Thursday June 16 after receiving reports of an incident involving several cars.

Officers now want to trace the driver of a Vauxhall Insignia who may have been threatened during the altercation. Detectives are now appealing for anyone who may have witnessed anything suspicious in that area to come forward.

Detective Sergeant Simon Carter, of Nottinghamshire Police, said: “We are working hard to understand exactly what happened and would ask anyone who may have seen anything suspicious in the area at the time to come forward and get in touch with us.

“We believe that the driver of the Vauxhall Insignia could have vital information that could assist us with our investigation and are urging them to come forward.”

Anyone with any information, witnessed the incident or has any dash-cam footage to call 101, quoting incident number 489 of 16 June 2022, or call Crimestoppers anonymously on 0800 555 111.
