Police seek dog owner after lamb savagely attacked at beauty spot

Police are looking for the owner of a dog which savagely attacked a lamb at a popular dog-walking spot.

Around 5.20pm on Wednesday 27th May 2020, police received a report of a lamb having been attacked and injured by a dog at Flotterstone near to Glencorse Reservoir.

The dog is described as a small husky type, grey, white and cream in colour, which was in the company of another similar described dog.

Police are trying to trace the owner of the dogs in connection with the incident.

The male who had an infant in a child back carrier and was riding a bike is described as white, 6', slim build, with a local accent, wearing a cycle helmet.

Police are appealing for anyone who has information regarding the incident or for the dog owner himself to contact police on 101 quoting incident number 2803, 27/05/2020.
