Police searching for a Sunderland man wanted in connection with a car theft have now found him.
An appeal was put out as officers tried to find 26-year-old Alan Adamson from Hetton-le-Hole , who was wanted in connection with the alleged theft on Edward Street, which was reported on November 25.
A number of addresses were searched and police asked members of the community who may know his whereabouts to come forward with information.
On Tuesday December 24, Northumbria Police confirmed that Adamson had been found and arrested.
