Police are searching for a wanted man after a car was driven at a crowd of people in the Northern Quarter.
Officers are appealing for help to find Derico Smith, 27, who is wanted in connection with the incident which took place on Dale Street, in the city centre.
A man was left with life-changing injuries after a car ploughed into him at around 3.30am on Sunday, September 8, 2019.
Officers are treating the incident as attempted murder.
Police say Smith is also wanted on recall to prison for failing to comply with the conditions of his license.
He is thought to have links to the Moss Side area.
Anyone with any information about Smith’s whereabouts should contact police on 0161 856 3508. Information can also be passed anonymously to the independent charity Crimestoppers on 0800 555 111.
