Police are searching for an alleged stalker from South Tyneside.

Daniel Clough, 30, is wanted in connection with alleged incidents of malicious communication, stalking and coercive control.

Police say efforts have been made to track him down and a number of searches are being carried out in the local area.

The suspect also goes by the surnames Woods and Wardell.

Officers are appealing for help from the public who may have seen him.

A spokesperson for Northumbria Police said: "Now police are asking members of the community who might have seen him or who might know his whereabouts to come forward with information.

"Daniel, or anyone who believes they have seen him, are asked to contact police quoting reference 1380085 or via the independent charity Crimestoppers anonymously on 0800 555 111."
