Police searching for soup kitchen volunteer who has gone missing

A volunteer who regularly helps Manchester’s homeless community is missing from home.

Police say they are growing increasingly worried about Paul Mulcahy, who has not been seen since Sunday morning, March 24.

The 35-year-old, who volunteers at the Street Treats soup kitchen in the city centre, was last seen on Stanway Street, in the Gorse Hill area of Stretford, at around 10am on Sunday.

Paul does not have his medication with him and officers want to make sure he is safe and well.

They believe he could be in the city centre.

Anyone who sees Paul is asked not to approach him, as he may be disorientated, and instead contact police.

Paul is white, around 6ft 4in tall and has a large build.

Paul was last seen on Sunday morning at Stanway Street, Gorse Hill (GMP)

He has a shaved head and the name ‘Oliver’ tattooed on his left arm, a guardian angel tattoo on his right arm and script style writing on the inner bicep of his right arm.
