Police searching for missing man have recovered a body

Officers searching for missing Carluke man Graham Brady have recovered a body.

Police say formal identification has still to take place, but his family have been informed.

The body of a man was recovered by police yesterday at around 11.35am in a burn between Carluke and Law.

A spokesperson for Police Scotland said: “Formal identification has still to take place, however, the family of Graham Brady, who has been missing from the Whitehill area of Carluke since Sunday, December 6, 2020, have been informed.

“Enquiries are ongoing to establish the exact cause of the man’s death which at this time, police are not treating as suspicious.”
