Police searching for missing Greenock woman who uses wheelchair

An urgent search has been launched for a missing Greenock woman who uses a wheelchair.

Fears are growing for Christina Cassidy, 30, who was last seen on Friday morning.

Cops have now appealed for the public's help in finding her safe and well.

Christina is described as 5ft 2ins tall, of slim build, with long light brown hair which might be tied back.

She uses a black manual wheelchair with black wheels and is likely to be wearing a green parker jacket with a fur hood.

Christina was last seen about 10am on Friday in Inverclyde - she also has links to Ayrshire.

Sergeant Dean Shankie from Greenock Police Office said: “It is out of character for Christina not to be in contact with her family and friends for this long.

"I would ask Christina to get in contact with us to confirm that she is safe and well as soon as possible."

Anyone with information as to Christina's whereabouts can contact police on 101 quoting incident number 3900 of 12/06/20.
