Federal police have launched an appeal for information to help find a missing 10-month-old boy.

While police believe baby Hoang Vinh Le is with his mother Lyn Kim Do, 21 and his father Hoang Thanh Le, 28, the child has not been seen for more than one month.

The baby was last seen at an O'Connor medical practice on April 9.

A federal police spokesman said the child was reportedly put into a silver Isuzu MU-X four-wheel-drive, with the NSW licence plate CF7 2YI.

It's believed the child has been taken to the area near Temora, in the NSW Riverina.

Police have said the child or the parents may have been in West Wyalong, also in the Riverina, or in the Liverpool and Bankstown area in Sydney.

The disappearance of the child has prompted an appeal for information from both federal police and the Federal Circuit Court.

Ms Do has been described as 150 centimetres tall with shoulder length black hair, black eyes and pale skin.

Mr Le has been described as about 160 centimteres tall with black, short spikey hair, black eyes and a light skin tone.

Police have said he also speaks with an Australian accent and sometimes answers to the name of Sam Le.

Anyone with information has been urged to contact CrimeStoppers on 1800 333 000.
