Police searching for missing 13-year-old boy from Didsbury - he was last seen in Wythenshawe

Police are appealing for help to find a missing 13-year-old boy from Didsbury.

John Noonan was last seen at around 6.20pm on Thursday (June 11) on Saxfield Drive in Baguley, Wythenshawe.

The teenager is described as white, approximately 5ft tall, with dark brown hair with a flat fringe and freckles on his face and cheeks.

He was last seen wearing a black anorak jacket with blue cargo pants and black trainers. 

He is also believed to have a black and green mountain bike.

John is from the Didsbury area.

Officers say they are becoming 'increasingly concerned' for the welfare of the the youngster.

They are appealing for anyone with information about his whereabouts to come forwards.

In a statement, a GMP spokesperson said: "Can you help police find a missing boy from Didsbury?

"John Noonan, 13, was last seen at 6.20pm last night (Thursday 11 June 2020) on Saxfield Drive in Baguley.

"John is described as a white, approximately 5ft tall, with dark brown hair and a flat fringe with freckles on his face and cheeks.

"He was last seen wearing a black anorak jacket with blue cargo pants and black trainers. He is also believed to have a black and green mountain bike.

"Officers are becoming increasingly concerned for John and want to make sure he is safe and well."
