A missing 12-year-old schoolgirl who vanished two days ago has been found safe and well.
Sophia Gourlay, from East Lothian, vanished after leaving Ross High School, Tranent at around 11.30am on Wednesday 4th December 2019.
The 12-year-old who lives in the Ormiston area had not been seen since.
Thankfully she was traced earlier today by cops.
Officers from Police Scotland have thanked members of the public for assisting in the search.
A Police Scotland statement read: "We can confirm that Sophia Gourlay, 12, who had been reported missing from Tranent has now been traced safe and well.
"Thanks to everyone who shared or otherwise helped with our earlier appeal."
