Police searching for Leeds drug dealer after prison escape

Police area searching for a Leeds drug dealer who escaped from prison last month.

Kearon Tyrone Hunte escaped from HMP Kirkham, where was serving a six-year sentence for conspiracy to supply Class A drugs.

The 32-year-old jumped over a perimeter fence at the category D prison on Saturday, October 5 and fled.

He is from Chapeltown and has links to areas across West Yorkshire.

He has been described as a black man of a medium build, who is around 5ft 10ins tall, with black hair and brown eyes.

West Yorkshire Police is urging anyone who sees Hunte or has information about his whereabouts to contact 101 and quote crime reference number 13190512938.
