Police searching for 'injured person' after 'several spots of blood' found in street

Police are concerned there may be an injured person in need of medical help after they found pools of blood on the pavement in Gorton.

The blood stains were found near a bus stop on Hyde Road late last night (Thursday).

Officers cordoned off a bus stop, near the B&M store, and a tree further down the road, following the discovery.

A police car was pictured outside the bus stop today (Friday).

Eyewitnesses said they saw blood splattered across the pavement outside the bus stop.
