County Durham woman Yasmin Punshon who went missing with a dog found 'safe and well'

A woman from County Durham who was missing for two days has been found safe and well, police have said.

Yasmin Punshon, 24, from Crook, was last seen on Sunday afternoon at her home, leaving the address with a dog.

Durham Constabulary said officers were becoming increasingly concerned for her welfare and appealed for help from the public.

However, the force on Tuesday afternoon confirmed that Yasmin has since been found safe and well.

A spokesperson said on Twitter: "Yasmin Punshon has now been located safe and well.
