Missing 85-year-old Porthcawl man found safe and well

UPDATE: South Wales Police has said 85-year-old Joseph Hughes has now been found.

Police launched an appeal for an 85-year-old Porthcawl man who was reported missing.

Joseph Hughes had last seen at around 1pm on Saturday at an address in Locks Common Road.

South Wales Police described him as 5ft 10 with a slim build.

He was last seen wearing a dark blue fleece jacket with dark green chino trousers.

In an update on Sunday, South Wales Police been found.

A spokesman said: "Thank you to all who have assisted in our appeal to locate 85-year-old Joseph Hughes."
