Update - Ellie Wright has now been found.
Police officers are concerned for the safety of a 16-year-old girl who has been missing for more than 24 hours.
Ellie Wright was last seen in the Broxtowe area at around 7.20pm on Sunday, January 12.
Nottinghamshire Police said she has a nose ring and wears hooped earrings.
A spokesman for the force added: "Ellie is described as white, of proportionate build and is around 5ft 5inches tall.
"She is described as having very long straight dark brown hair. It is not know what she was wearing when she was reported missing.
"If you have seen Ellie or have any information about her whereabouts, please contact Nottinghamshire Police on 101, quoting incident number 820 of January 13th 2020."
