Police searching for 14-year-old girl who hasn't been seen for three days

Update: Mckenzie has been found safe and well. South Wales Police have thanked everyone for their help with the appeal.

A 14-year-old schoolgirl has been missing from the Sandfields area of Port Talbot for the past three days.

Mckenzie Mort who is from Briton Ferry was last seen in the area on January 25 and reported missing on that day.

South Wales Police are appealing for more information on the whereabouts of the young girl and urging anyone with more information to contact them.

Hundreds have already shared the appeal over social media to find more information on Mckenzie's whereabouts.

A spokesperson for South Wales Police said: "We are appealing for information on the whereabouts of 14-year-old Mckenzie Mort.

"She was reported missing from the Sandfields area, Port Talbot, on 25 January.

"We are asking anyone with information on her whereabouts or Mckenzie herself to contact us via 101 quoting occurrence 2000029593."
