Police searched the home of a 14-year-old boy who was arrested at school on suspicion of drug offences.
The boy was held after police arrived at Sacred Heart Catholic College in Crosby on January 19.
He was arrested on suspicion of possession with intent to supply Class B drugs.

A quantity of edible cannabis sweets, also known as cannabis cakes, were recovered, police said.
The force has now confirmed they searched the boy's home after the arrest.
The ECHO understands the boy lives in an attractive house in a desirable part of Sefton.
The teen was released under investigation and has been issued with an Out of Court Disposal, an alternative to taking a defendant to court.
Last month a video clip emerged which appeared to show police escorting the boy toward a police van. The boy was surrounded by officers.
Last month a parent at the school who asked not be named said: "The police arrived at around 9am and the boy was pulled out of class by a senior member of the teaching staff. He was then seen being escorted from the school by police. Everyone is talking about it and there is a lot of concern."
A police spokesman said: "The boy was released under investigation. He was issued an Out of Court Disposal (OOCD). Officers conducted a search at a property in the area on Wednesday 19 January."
A spokesman for the school said: "We have a zero tolerance policy and take matters like this seriously, and we will continue to educate pupils about drugs and the impact of them. "
Last month a spokesman for the school said: "At Sacred Heart, we take matters like this incredibly seriously and do not tolerate behaviour of this kind.
"We are fully co-operating with the police during their investigation, we are unable to comment any further as it is currently a police matter."
