Police search River Thames after man falls from Tower Bridge

Police are searching the River Thames after a man was seen falling from Tower Bridge.

Multiple witnesses reported seeing a man fall into the water on 13 October shortly before 6pm.

A CCTV image of the man, who has not yet been identified, was released by City of London Police, who are urgently appealing for more information.

The man has been described by police as black and wearing dark clothing.

Investigations continue and police officers are searching the area, including the river itself.

Local enquiries are being made in the hope of identifying the man.

A City of London Police spokesperson said: “Were you on or near Tower Bridge at the time? Do you remember seeing what happened? If so, we want to hear from you.”

Anyone with information should contact City of London Police on 020 7601 2999.

Alternatively, Crimestoppers can be called anonymously on 0800 555 111.
