SCOTTISH police are ramping up the search for a teenage girl who has been missing for more than four days.

Julia Gradecka, who is 14, was last seen in Dalkeith on Saturday July 13, and officers are appealing for help in the search.

Gradecka was last spotted in the Waterfall Walk area of the Midlothian town at around 7am on Saturday.

The teenager is described as being around 5ft 9in in height, of medium build, with long brown hair. She is known to frequent the Bellshill area of North Lanarkshire.

Police said that when last seen she was wearing a purple and white jumper, black leggings, and white crocs.

Inspector Watson from Dalkeith Police Station said: “As time passes we are becoming increasingly concerned for Julia’s welfare and would urge anyone who may have seen her, or has any information on her whereabouts, to contact police.

“Likewise, if Julia sees or hears about this appeal, please call us, so we know you are safe and well.”

Anyone with any information is asked to contact 101 quoting reference 3389 of July 13, 2024.
