Police search for young man with mental health problems missing since Sunday

A man with mental health problems has been missing for two days.

Ellis Redfern, 20, was last seen leaving his grandma's house, on Fearnhead Close, Farnworth , at 1pm on Sunday.

His family are concerned for his welfare, especially as he suffers with psychosis.

Gemma Redfern, his mum, said: "We are worried sick. I'm going out of my mind.

"He left my mum's and said he had to catch a film at the cinema for 2pm but he's just never come home.

"He has mental health problems. He suffers with psychosis so he hasn't got many friends so he goes everywhere on his own.

"The only other place he'd go is his sisters and he's not been there either."

According to his family, Ellis left his phone in his bedroom.

Police have been searching for Ellis since Sunday and have told the family they will look at CCTV around the Farnworth area to try and track his movements.

If you have seen Ellis or have any information , call police on 101.
