Police search for witnesses after teen motorcyclist is left seriously injured in West Lothian crash

Cops in West Lothian have appealed for information or dashcam footage after a teenager was left seriously injured in a crash.

An 18-year-old man was left with "serious but non-life threatening injuries" after the crash.

Police Scotland said the incident happened around 3pm on Wednesday 3 June.

The man, who was driving a white motorcycle, was involved in a collision with a blue Vauxhall car on Ladeside Road in the town.

He was conveyed to hospital by ambulance following the incident.

Cops said the driver of the car was uninjured and stopped at the scene.

Constable Susan Nisbet, of the Road Policing Unit based at Livingston, said: "We're appealing to anyone who witnessed this incident or was in the area around that time and has dashcam footage to come forward".

"Anyone with information should contact Police Scotland on 101, quoting incident number 2043 of 3 June 2020."
