Police search for Paisley schoolgirl missing for two days

Concerns are mounting for a Paisley schoolgirl who hasn't been seen since Sunday with police launching a search for the missing teen.

Kayden Lavelle's family are said to be "extremely worried" about the 15-year-old who was last seen in the Seedhill area of the town at around 7pm on Sunday evening.

Officers say they are looking to speak to anyone who may have information on the missing girl's whereabouts.

A Police Scotland statement said: "Kayden is described as white, 5ft 7 inches, dyed long blonde hair, and is of medium build. She was last seen wearing a black leather jacket, white top, black gym leggings, and black trainers.

"This is the first time Kayden has gone missing and her friends and family are extremely worried about her.

"If anyone has seen or heard from Kayden please contact Police Scotland via 101 quoting incident number 1975 of the 22nd July 2019."
