Police search for missing Salford man who has not been 'seen or heard from' for a week

Police are appealing for help in the search for a 51-year-old man who has not been seen for a week.

Andrew Grimes was last spotted in Salford during the early hours of Friday, May 8, but officers have not been able to track him down since.

They have released an image of him and have asked anyone with information to come forward.

In a post on GMP's Salford Facebook page, an officer said: "We are becoming increasingly concerned for the safety and welfare of Andrew.

"Andrew was last seen during the early hours of last Friday and has not been seen or heard from since.

"Andrew is from the Worsley area of Salford, but he is also known to frequent the Walkden and Pendleton areas."

Anyone with information regarding the whereabouts of Andrew is encouraged to phone 101 and quote missing person reference number MSP/06FF/0000988/20.
