Missing North Tyneside man Martyn Luckhurst has been found safe and well

A North Tyneside man who went missing has been found safe and well.

Northumbria Police launched an appeal to find missing North Tyneside man Martyn Luckhurst, who had last been seen in Shiremoor.

The 43-year-old was reported missing at around 12.12pm on Friday after leaving a home on James Avenue in Shiremoor.

He was also sighted outside of Snax Garage on Earsdon Road not long before this but his family had not heard from him since.

Inquiries to locate Martyn continued this afternoon but at around 9.30pm, police confirmed Martyn had been found.
