Police search for missing Fife man as loved ones say absence is 'out of character'

Police are appealing for information in a bid to find a missing Fife man.

Ryan Landels hasn't been seen since around 1pm on Monday in the Springfield area of Cupar.

The 30-year-old is known to travel to the Kirkcaldy and Glenrothes areas.

He also sometimes visits Levenmouth.

Officers probing Ryan's disappearance say his friends and family are 'increasingly concerned for him'.

Ryan is described as five feet, nine inches tall, of a medium build with auburn balding hair and facial hair.

He was last seen wearing a grey Nike hoodie, yellow t-shirt, black trousers and blue trainers but could also be wearing a black hoodie and grey beanie hat.

Sergeant Paul Hunter said:“Ryan has been missing for a number of days now and this is out of character for him.

"His family and friends are understandably worried about him.

"We have a number of police resources dedicated to finding Ryan and I am now looking for the assistance of the public”.

Anyone with information should contact 101 quoting incident number 0012 of February 4.
