Police search for missing 16-year-old William Hawkins

ACT police are appealing for information following the disappearance of a teenage boy.

William Hawkins, 16, has been missing for more than two weeks.

He was last seen in Belconnen on January 22.

Police have described William as being of Aboriginal or Torres Strait Islander in appearance, with olive skin, about 170 centimetres tall with dark hair, brown eyes and a slim build.

ACT police have said there are concerns for William's safety, and want to assure him he is not in any trouble.

Anyone with information has been urged to contact ACT police on 131 444.
