Police search for man missing in Highlands after 'worried' family launch appeal

Police have launched a frantic search for a missing Scots man .

Calum MacKenzie was last seen at his home in Salvesen Crest, Alness on Thursday at around 1.30pm.

The 41-year-old is is described as white, 6 ft, stocky build, bald and was wearing a black jacket with a blue logo, black trousers jeans, light blue shirt and black boots.

Sgt Nicola MacDonald, Alness Police Station, said: “Calum has never been missing before.

"He did not turn up for tea with his parents on Thursday afternoon – they then raised the alarm.

“We are keen to hear from anyone who may have seen Calum, or maybe knows where he is, to get in touch.

"His family are very concerned for him.

“We would also ask Calum to call us or his family to let everyone know he is OK.”

Information can be passed to officers at Alness Police Station via 101.

"Please quote reference number 3129 of 8 November 2019 when calling."
