Police search for man missing from mental health hospital for more than 24 hours

Detectives are appealing for a missing man in his 50s who has not been seen for more than 24 hours. The man is from north Manchester, but was reported missing from a mental health hospital.

Michael Gormally, 54, was reported missing from Altrincham Priory Mental Health Hospital, on Rappax Road in Hale, today. He was last seen on Tuesday, June 21.

Michael lives in the New Moston area of north Manchester. He also has links to Blackley, Greater Manchester Police said on social media.

A Facebook post from the force’s North Manchester division said: “Michael Gormally, 54yrs, has been reported missing from Altrincham Priory. He was last seen on the 21st June 2022.

“He lives in the New Moston area and also has links to Blackley. If you have seen Michael please call us on 0161 856 4024 or call PC Dave Frame on 07393781595.”
