Police are searching for a 42-year-old man who has not returned from walking the challenging Mourne Mountains.
Jonathan Broome was last seen around 7.30pm yesterday evening (September 25).
He was believed to be wearing a black waterproof Berghaus coat and dark trousers. He also had brown walking shoes.
Newry, Mourne and Down Police are asking anyone who has any information that could help officers to locate the missing man to telephone 101 and quote reference 2007 25.09.2022.
A spokesperson said: "Jonathan Broome aged 42 was last spoken to at about 7.30pm last night. He was walking the"7 7's" in the Mournes but has not returned. He was believed to be wearing a black waterproof beghaus coat and black trousers and wearing brown walking boots.
"Were you in the Mournes yesterday? Did you see Johnathan? If you have any information you help Police locate Johnathan call 101 and quote reference 2007 25.09.2022."
