Police search for man after 'terrible' attack in Camden pub leaves victim with broken ribs

Police are on the hunt for a man wanted in connection with a "terrible" attack in a north London pub.

Officers were called to the scene just after midnight on March 2 after a 31-year-old man was beaten up inside and outside the Elephant's Head pub on Camden High Street.

He was left with broken ribs and facial injuries.

The incident followed a "verbal altercation" between the victim and three men, police said.

The victim was taken to hospital and has since been discharged.

Now officers have released an image of a man they want to speak to in connection with the attack.

PC Sarah Parker said: “This was a terrible attack in which the victim has sustained serious injuries. We are hoping that by releasing this image a member of the public will come forward and identity this man.

“We are determined to get justice for the victim, and to make sure those responsible face the consequences of their actions.

"I encourage anyone who may have been in the area or seen the men involved to contact police.”

Anyone who recognises the man in the image or with information is asked to contact police by calling 101 quoting CAD 52/02MAR20.

Alternatively, tweet @MetCC or contact Crimestoppers anonymously on 0800 555 111.
