Police search for family of 'reclusive' dead man, 66, who rarely had visitors

Police have released a photo of a man who died as part of an appeal to trace his next of kin

Graham Clay, of Codnor, Derbyshire, lived in a flat in Heanor Road, and died in May.

Derbyshire Constabulary said the 66-year-old was "reclusive and rarely had visitors, and we have been unable to trace any next of kin."

PC Eleanor Kirton said: “We've carried out a number of checks to find relatives but sadly haven’t been able to. The last thing we want is for a relative to find out about Mr Clay’s death through social media but it’s important that we try to find any surviving next of kin.”

If you recognise him or have information that could help, please contact Derbyshire police quoting reference 20*285575.
