Police search for alleged serial ram raider

Police are seeking witnesses to two ramming incidents in Canberra that occurred on Sunday, July 19.

These incidents happened in Lyons and Yarralumla.

Police believe that the same vehicle was involved in both incidents.

The first incident occurred in Lyons at 6.45pm on July 19.

There were reports of a black 4WD utility that rammed the back of a Black Volkswagen Passat.

This happened on the southbound off ramp from the Tuggeranong Parkway to Hindmarsh Drive.

At 7pm, police received reports of a black 4WD utility that rammed the back of a small grey Honda in Yarralumla.

This occurred while driving across Scrivener Dam on Lady Denman Drive.

ACT Policing are urging anyone who witnessed the incidents or who have footage of the collisions to contact Crime Stoppers ACT on 1800 333 000, or via the Crime Stoppers ACT website.

Witnesses to the 6.45pm incident should reference 6579196. Witnesses to the 7pm incident should reference 6579187.
