84-year-old County Durham man Charles Clemment found safe and well

Police have thanked the public for their help after a missing man was found safe and well.

Officers from Durham Constabulary have made an appeal to the public after Charles Clemment was last seen in Wheatley Hill at about 11pm on Saturday.

In a post on Facebook on Sunday night, a spokesperson for Durham Constabulary announced: "Charlie Clemment has been found safe and well.

"Thank you to everyone who shared our appeal."

The appeal to find Mr Clemment was shared on Facebook, as well as by Durham Live.
