Police hunting for a missing man have been spotted searching close to a Bolton reservoir.
John Woodman, from Bury, was last seen on Spring Vale Drive, Tottington, Bury, at around 10.30pm yesterday.
The 56-year-old left his mobile phone and bank card at home but is believed to have been driving a blue Ford Galaxy registration FG62 UFJ, which has been found near Wayoh reservoir outside the Black Bull Inn on Bolton Road, Edgeworth.
Officers say they are becoming "increasingly concerned" for his safety.
Multiple police cars have been spotted near the pub where Mr Woodman's vehicle was found, as well as in the surrounding area.
He is described as being approximately 6ft 2in tall and of a medium build.
Police believe he may be wearing a yellow t-shirt, blue tracksuit bottoms and trainers.
Mr Woodman's image has been circulated by officers on social media and anyone who may have spotted him is asked to come forward.
